disclaimer:

i am not a creative writer. i like grouping together other people's creativity into an introduction, 3 body and a conclusion. i really do enjoy picking apart someone else's attempt at what i'm sure they think is art and resolving to hate them based (almost) solely on the fact that they have terrible grammar.
don't expect much.

Black & Brown is the new Black & White.

The best thing about fashion, so to speak, is when people just don’t care. It’s always the ones that don’t seem to realize how fashionable they really are that are, in fact, the ones making an impact on today. Maybe not just today, but in a way today is still going to be tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, etc. With that said, a lot of people are really good at acting (or looking) like they don’t give a shit and don’t know how fucking awesome they look when really, it takes them at least an hour, and a massive pile or clothes on the floor beside them, before they can even step foot outside. From my experiences with friends, I can’t say that I know one person who truly doesn’t give a fuck and doesn’t even know why some may say that black and brown are a fashion faux-pas. Effortlessly cool really isn’t what we tend to think it is. I mean come one, fashion can only be fashion for what the beholder thinks it is. When I use the word “fashion” don’t go looking it up in the dictionary (ex: the make, form, or shape of a thing, or, the way in which something is made or done; manner) just take it as it is. There is no fucking way that somebody can actually define fashion. Truthfully, nobody can even define themselves.

It is a common mistake (that I, myself, do all the time) when somebody might think that they are being fashionable for wearing something they have never seen on anybody else or maybe even have made themselves. Well way to fucking go! Seriously though. But that’s not fashion. Nothing is. Nothing ever will be. And that is why fashion, as a word, a subject, a culture in its own sort of way, is just such an amazing thing. And by thing I think you know what I mean, or at least I hope you do.

To be honest I’m not much of a writer, actually I never really write anything except for in my journal on those really shitty days or on facebook to people like Spirit, who are out experiencing life in a whole new world. To all those English teachers I had throughout high school, thank you. I know it’s pretty hard to tell (that I don’t write much at all) considering my excellent spelling skills as well as sentence structure and paragraphed choices yada yada yada but seriously, nobody really cares as long as something is readable. And I also hope you caught that sarcasm.

In the end, I don’t even know what this whole thing is about. No wait… that’s a huge fucking lie. Of course I know what it’s was about because I wrote it, right? But all I’m saying is, nobody understands anyone, ever. But at the very same time we all know exactly what each and every one of us is thinking. Thinking is a beautiful thing. To me it is more important than knowing, way more important. Everybody knows things, but do we all think things? Think about it.

Thinking is brilliant. So is the ocean, and the sky, and the light bulb lighting up this room. And so is every single fucking think in this world, whether we like it or not; it will always be brilliant. Brilliance is even brilliant.

YouTubing

Well, we are all probably guilty of our fair share of binges on youtube. Me and my fellow author, who still has yet to write... talk alot and when we get going its usually about finding awesome videos on youtube or wicked items/apartments on craigslist. We find ourselves trying to define who we are through one video, some what of a game, finding our image or beliefs in a simple video on youtube. I generally end up choosing live shows of favorite musicians. Ellen, she picks videos that are completely outrageous, like beyonce live almost poking fun at me because of my seriousness of the game but I know that she wants to be Beyonce but you cant blame her... who wouldnt want to be Beyonce?
I'll post my video of "now" and i say that because i have changed my mind alot and am still finding "my video". Ellen can post hers when ever she wants.

Death From Above 1979, a great canadian band. A classic in my mind, a precursor to this whole dance music popularity, which has almost out done itself with Justice, who in my mind has become a hipster faux pas. Opinion on music is a whole 'nother post. Not only does this video contain great music, and a great band, but great footage of Sebastien Grainger grabbing fans and yanking them around well passionately belting out DFA's romantic vocals. He then steps on the fans, somewhat crowd surfing. All while Jesse Keeler rips dancey hooks on his rickenbacker in the back. Only for Sebastien to end by saying "sorry to all the people I stepped on, I am not in the habit of stepping on people to get to where I want to go." This video is a representation of me and what I like. SO HERE:
